Ballyheigue 10/5K By The Bay 2016

The 5th Annual Ballyheigue 10k Road Race (and 5k Charity run / walk) will take place on April. The race will start from the Beach Car Park at 12 noon and follows a tricky uphill route before levelling out on Kerryhead giving you a chance to drink in the magnificent views of Tralee Bay stretching from Banna Beach to Brandon Mountain.

Registration will take place from 10:30am in the Community Centre and the finish will be as always outside the Family Resource Centre in Sraid Thaidhg. Prizes in all categories with refreshments afterwards at the finish.

Asdee GAA HM & 10K 2016

B*WILDERED Challenge 2016

BWILDERED ‘The John Lenihan Wilderness Challenge’ hosted by Ballymacelligott GAA Club and sponsored by Lee Strand Protein+ Milk is Kerry’s ultimate fitness challenge set in the wilderness of Glanageenty in Ballymacelligott, Co. Kerry on Saturday, April 30th, 2016 at 11.00am.
Participants will test their fitness limits while being captivated by one of Ireland’s hidden gems with magnificent views, rugged hills, waterfall, historical ruins and not forgetting the roaming goats!
The course has been designed by running legend John Lenihan in conjunction with Joe O’Connor, Nisus Fitness. John Lenihan trained in Glanageenty to achieve peak fitness when he became the World Mountain Running Champion in 1991. Joe O’Connor, Nisus Fitness is the Fitness & Performance Expert on RTE’s Ireland’s Fittest Family. The combined experience of both individuals has culminated in the ultimate challenge over a 7.5km route with participants embracing natural obstacles and enduring some surprises along the way.
Participants will receive a B WILDERED finisher’s medal, goody bag, refreshments and enjoy post-party BBQ with entertainment.

Jack & Jill Run Up the Hill 10K Fun Run/Walk 2016

The 2016 “Jack and Jill Run Up the Hill” 10K Fun Run/Walk takes place Saturday 23rd April 2016 in beautiful Kenmare, Co. Kerry. This Fun Run/Walk is open to runners and walkers of all ages with kids, buggies, grannies, grandads and even doggies
(on a lead) all welcome!

MAKE IT A DAY OUT FOR ALL THE FAMILY!
Enjoy a Carnival atmosphere in The Square with Music and lots of family and kids’ fun activities from 1pm! (Kerry weather permitting!).

Great Refreshments provided for all Participants after the event!
Registration is on the day and costs €20 per adult and €5 per child, with a 3pm start.
